Women’s Ministry (WoFM) – Church of God Papua New Guinea

The Women’s Ministry (WoFM) of the Papua New Guinea Church of God (PNGCOG) is a faith-driven movement dedicated to equipping, uplifting, and empowering women in their spiritual walk and daily lives. Through prayer, discipleship, and service, we encourage women to live out their God-given purpose and become agents of transformation in their homes, churches, and communities.

Our mission is to raise strong, faithful, and Christ-centered women who will influence their families, church, and society through love, service, and leadership.

To nurture and empower women to fulfill their divine calling and be a light to the world through biblical principles, leadership development, and sustainable programs that improve lives.

✅ Spiritual Growth & Discipleship

• Organizing Bible studies, prayer meetings, and spiritual retreats to strengthen women’s faith.
• Encouraging personal devotion and fellowship among women.

📖 “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 3:18)

✅ Women’s Leadership Development

• Training and equipping women to become leaders in their homes, church, and society.
• Conducting leadership workshops and conferences to build confidence and resilience.

✅ Outreach & Evangelism

• Ministering to the lost, broken, and marginalized in communities.
• Hosting gospel campaigns and missions to reach more women with the Word of God.

✅ Women’s Economic Empowerment

• Encouraging self-sustainability through business and skill development programs.
• Providing training in financial literacy, agriculture, and small business management.

📖 “She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.” (Proverbs 31:16)

✅ Health & Well-being

• Promoting women’s health, wellness, and family care.
• Conducting awareness programs on maternal health, domestic violence, and mental well-being.

✅ Mentorship & Support for Young Women

• Guiding young women in their faith, education, and life decisions.
• Establishing mentorship networks between older and younger women.

📖 “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)

🌿 National & Provincial Women’s Conventions – Bringing together women from across PNG for fellowship, worship, and empowerment.

🤲 Community Outreach Programs – Visiting hospitals, prisons, and rural villages to share the love of Christ.

🎓 Workshops & Training – Equipping women with biblical knowledge, leadership skills, and practical livelihood training.

👩‍👧‍👦 Motherhood & Family Support – Strengthening Christian family values and offering support for mothers.

👩‍💼 Entrepreneurship & Vocational Training – Providing skills training to help women start businesses and support their families.

Our Women's Ministry celebrates the vital role women play in the church and community. Proverbs 31:25 reminds us, "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." We believe every woman is uniquely gifted by God to serve, lead, and inspire others.  Through Bible studies, prayer gatherings, and fellowship events, we equip women to grow spiritually and embrace their God-given purpose. Titus 2:3-5 encourages women to mentor one another, and our ministry provides a space for this meaningful connection. Whether you're a mother, leader, or friend, your role is invaluable in building God’s kingdom.  We also focus on practical teachings to help women navigate life’s challenges with faith and grace. Philippians 4:13 reminds us, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Together, we support one another, fostering a community of love, encouragement, and prayer.  

Join us as we grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and impact our families and church. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your presence matters.
